Chicago’s snow arrival came at the perfect time yesterday as Stage 773 and Theatre at the Center both premiered their holiday performances.
First up: Stage 773’s “It’s a Wonderful Santaland Miracle Miracle, Nut Cracking Christmas Story.. Jews Welcome!”. With an all-star cast and direction by Chicago comedy legend Brian Posen, the performance was filled with laughter, holiday tunes and exceptional dance numbers by Matter Dance. The holiday extravaganza runs through December 28 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont.
We then ventured south to Theatre at the Center’s opening performance of the holiday classic tale “A Christmas Memory”. Directed by Bill Pullinsi with a cast filled with Chicago area favorites, the show did not disappoint. “A Christmas Memory” runs through December 14 at Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road in Munster.
