When I entered college, I knew that I would have to complete an internship abroad for my last semester. My mission was then simple: multiply professional and extracurricular experiences during the three years of my degree to stand out and get access to the best internships. It was intensive, sometimes difficult, but definitely worth it because it allowed me to travel to Chicago from France and join the Heron Agency Summer Internship team.
My internship at Heron Agency was a professional and deeply enriching experience. At Heron, we were really given a chance to prove our values. I was given responsibilities I was in charge of and had the opportunity to brainstorm ideas for many clients throughout my internship. The team trusted me and my fellow intern co-workers. I did my best to try to live up to the trust that had been placed in me.
I met wonderful people and worked surrounded by incredible coworkers who are hard-working and passionate. You can feel that they love what they do and it was really inspiring to see these successful employees flourish in their work. It reminded me why I was working so hard and gave me the hope that one day, I could achieve the same career.
I learned a lot from Kathy Bryja, my internship supervisor who always took the time to answer my questions, explain to me in detail my assignments and especially the purpose of it, which helped me to perceive the interest and impact of my actions and I wanted to thank her for that.
Finally, I would like to use this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and special thanks to Noreen Heron who gave me her trust by hiring me. Heron Agency was a great place for learning and professional development. I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it.
It was an amazing experience on all fronts. I will truly miss the team. Thank you for everything.
