Heron Agency was tasked with creating a PR, Marketing, and Social Media campaign for the 2018 One of a Kind Holiday Show. Featuring more than 600 independent artists from across North America and beyond, the One of a Kind Show simplifies holiday gifting with a wide range of unique and eclectic offerings.
To kick off our campaign, we announced the dates of the show to local, regional, and national press outlets, in turn securing feature placements for the show. We also created and pitched a holiday gift guide featuring participating artists, and activities and events that took place to secure additional media coverage. To create word of mouth visibility throughout the city, we secured partnerships with like minded organizations and meet up groups to share information with their followers and members. We also implemented a social media influencer campaign, working with high-profile local influencers with large social media followings, to share posts in advance of the event, sell tickets, conduct giveaways, and more, in addition to running the One of a Kind Show social media platforms.
