WHAT WE DID
To celebrate the grand unveiling of their lobby and guestroom renovation, we handled the PR efforts for Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel’s 4th Annual Global Day of Discovery, which featured a concert by Robin Thicke and Natalie La Rose. We worked in conjunction with the hotel team, the New York branding team and Robin’s publicist and management team to executive a flawless event, which resulted in national and local coverage including BILLBOARD, OK! Magazine and PEOPLE. The event featured hotel VIPs as well as trade and travel media to showcase the grand re-opening of the lobby and suites.
RESULTS WE GOT
The campaign was recognized as one of the brand’s most successful renovations and we were asked to present on a call with the national brand team to highlight our team’s success.
We also heavily promoted the hotel’s new dining concept, Raised, Chicago’s most anticipated rooftop destination in 2016. The media secured on the opening included coverage in the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, FOX32 NEWS, WGN TV, WCIU TV, Fodor’s, Chicago Magazine, USA TODAY, & RED EYE The campaign was very successful with more than one billion media impressions.
