Steak 48 is elevating Thanksgiving Dinner this year. Diners are invited to join Steak 48 on November 23rd at 615 N Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 from 2pm-9pm and indulge in Thanksgiving and Steak 48 favorites. The full menu will be served, along with Chef’s Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, which includes turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Home cooks can put the spatula down and leave the cooking to award-winning Chef Art Smith and team this Thanksgiving. Chef Art Smith’s Reunion, located in Streeterville at the front of Chicago’s iconic Navy Pier, will be offering a pre-order holiday meal for 4+ guests including everything from an expertly-prepared Turkey to a variety of gourmet sides, available for curbside pickup this holiday. Chef and team have curated a comforting, soul-filled menu of Chef’s down-home Southern takes on holiday classics meant to bring families back to the sanctity of the table to reconnect with loved ones. Orders must be placed via Tock by Saturday, November 18 and curbside meal pickup will take place at Chef Art Smith’s Reunion, located at the entrance of Navy Pier on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22 from 12-7pm. The to-go meal is meant to serve 4 diners and will be available for $170, with the option to add additional diners for $40 per person.
Komo Chicago, the Boundless Japanese restaurant located in the West Loop led by Executive Chef Macku Chan, will be celebrating with a decadent 6-course menu that will feature an array of flavors such as a Lobster Corn Soup, Madai Sashimi, Tuna Tartare, Live Scallops, Filet with foie gras and a Chocolate Lava cake to end on a sweet note. In the spirit of giving, Roseland Community Hospital on Chicago’s Far South Side, is bringing back its much-anticipated Turkey Drive on Saturday, November 18 beginning at 10am. During this festive morning, the team at the hospital will partner with Molina Healthcare and BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois to give out 250 turkeys and a free hot meal to families in attendance. The turkey drive will be on a first come basis, and families are not required to register beforehand. Residents of the community are also invited to learn more about Roseland’s various services and wellness resources while onsite, and be offered a free hot meal.
