To celebrate the grand unveiling of their $22 Million renovation, we coordinated and executed Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel’s 4th Annual Global Day of Discovery, which featured a concert by Robin Thicke and Natalie La Rose.
The event featured hotel VIPs as well as trade and travel media to showcase the grand re-opening of the lobby and suites. In addition to trade coverage, we secured attendance by prominent music and entertainment editors, as well as a wealth of post-event social coverage
The campaign was recognized as one of the brand’s most successful renovations, with more than 32,000,000 impressions, and the Heron team was asked to present on a call with the national brand team to highlight our team’s success.
We also heavily promoted the hotel’s new dining concept, Staytion, and secured features in the CHICAGO TRIBUNE as one of Chicago’s hottest new restaurants. In addition to our PR strategy, we dovetailed the campaign with marketing initiatives to increase traffic and position Staytion as a major dining destination for high rises and businesses in the Loop.
