Ellen has worked on many large-scale campaigns including Hyatt Regency McCormick Place’s $110 Million renovation, Le Méridien Chicago – Oakbrook Center’s $25 Million Grand Opening, the 20th Anniversary of French bistro Le Bouchon, the nation’s largest sketch comedy festival, Chicago Sketchfest, the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival featuring SNL writer Katie Rich, and the Grand Openings of Le Méridien Indianapolis and Le Méridien Columbus. She also executed Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel’s Global Day of Discovery featuring Robin Thicke and Natalie La Rose, which garnered national and local press coverage.
With a double degree in Journalism and Strategic Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ellen has the skills to secure coverage for clients across all media platforms. She learned to think like a journalist during her nine month internship at NBC15 in Madison, where she reported on all major stories. She finished her senior year as an editorial intern at Madison Magazine, further expanding her experience within the world of journalism. Ellen interned at two marketing agencies and served as Media Director for her college strategic communication course, leading her team to win the Chevy Volt account over 5 other teams.
A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Ellen wants to try skydiving some day. When not working, Ellen loves checking out new restaurants and exploring Chicago’s versatile neighborhoods and shops.
