WHAT WE DID
We coordinated and executed the grand opening of the country’s first American Writers Museum, located at 180 North Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown Chicago. We hosted two press conferences in the museum space to update the media on the museum’s progress and launch the opening of the museum. We pitched and were able to secure appearances by the Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, who gave a welcoming speech, toured the space and participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
RESULTS WE GOT
The media secured on the opening included national and international coverage in FORBES, DAILY MAIL, THE GUARDIAN, CHINA NEWS, MASHABLE, VOGUE, WALL STREET JOURNAL, AND THE NEW YORK TIMES. The campaign was very successful with more than 1,113,332,478 impressions. We were additionally able to secure the attendance of top Chicago media outlets and every major TV station including WLS-ABC, WMAQ-NBC, WBBM-CBS, WFLD-FOX, WSNS-TELEMUNDO, The Chicago Tribune, and Crain’s Chicago Business.
