WHAT WE DID
Heron Agency handles the ongoing Public Relations and Marketing for the Chicagoland Orangetheory Fitness region. Hailed by The New York Times as “the best one-hour workout in the country,” Orangetheory Fitness is a one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout with 50 locations in the area.
After initially representing only 4 area locations, Orangetheory Fitness brought us on to manage all 50 locations in the region due to the effectiveness of our campaign. We have successfully planned and promoted several programs and secured a variety of partnerships, including an event in support of the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation.
RESULTS WE GOT
We coordinated an Orangetheory Fitness event that included Blackhawks alums Adam Burish and Brian Campbell and all proceeds were donated to the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation. Through the partnership, we secured exposure for Orangetheory Fitness on the Chicago Blackhawks webpage, social media outlets, in-game advertising and in an eblast, which garnered over 40 million impressions. We have also secured partnerships with Mario Tricoci, Freshii, Lou Malnati’s, Amazing Lash, and more.
The media we have secured to date through our campaign includes coverage in the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, USA TODAY, TIMEOUT CHICAGO, BLOOMBERG, THE TODAY SHOW, SPLASH MAGAZINE, CHICAGO PARENT, WGN-AM, B96 RADIO, 101.9 FM THE MIX, FOX-TV, WCIU-TV, WLS-TV, and with a variety of local influencers. Since the beginning of the campaign, we have secured more than 1 billion media impressions
