Let the Cinco de Mayo festivities begin! This week, some of Chicago’s top spots are celebrating and we’ve rounded them up below so you don’t miss out on any of the fun!
Oaken Bistro + Bar, 200 N Field Dr, will be the life of the party this Cinco de Mayo as the restaurant will be holding a Tequila Tasting event in partnership with Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila on their beautiful outdoor patio from 6:30pm – 8:30pm on May 5. An 818 representative will be on-site guiding guests through a myriad of flavors from the brand’s most popular selections. In addition to party favors, an on-site photo station will be present for the evening allowing guests to capture all of the awesome highlights of the night. Chicago’s premier Pan Latin celebration destination Carnivale, 702 W Fulton Market, invites guests to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on May 5 from 4pm-9pm. The colorful dining room will be filled with Mariachi style entertainment as handcrafted margaritas flow throughout the space and guests enjoy a delicious prix fixe menu. Make your way to Navy Pier to enjoy Lirica, the Latin-inspired waterfront restaurant, as they offer a special menu for Cinco de Mayo. Served Family Style for $40 per person, the menu includes holiday favorites including fresh chips and salsas, Mexican Street Corn, Steak and Shrimp Tacos and of course, house-made Churros for dessert. Cheers to Cinco de Mayo at Kennedy Rooftop, the most scenic rooftop in Chicago with unobstructed views of the Chicago skyline, delicious dishes and handcrafted cocktails. To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Kennedy Rooftop will be offering free orders of their freshly made chips and salsa with any purchase of alcoholic beverage.
